This is my dream, my passion, my gift. Every day I continue to be amazed at the opportunities that we have today, as photographers - the ability to capture love, a moment, a story, a spirit and a life within a single photograph. I believe that I have been blessed with this gift and I want to continue to share it with others so that they may have a gift of their own!
As a newlywed, I completely understand how important, and how difficult, it is to trust someone with this responsibility and I also know how much time is put into the planning of your wedding day; from the moment you choose the location to say "I do", to trying on the dress of your dreams, and of course, all the planning in between. I pay attention to the small things, which will later remind you of each moment that made your day so special and so unique; including all the details, the look in your eyes as you look at each other for the first time as husband and wife, as well as the relationships being created between your two unique families.
I focus on bringing out the personality of those being photographed. Releasing one's self, while making the sessions fun and comfortable. On the wedding day, I perform in a non-intrusive manner, allowing me to document many emotional, meaningful and real moments. It is so important to allow time for timeless yet creative portraiture. In order to create most of what you see on my website portfolio, I would direct you in a natural way to create a beautiful image that could possibly sum up the beauty of your wedding day in a single shot. My goal is to capture your love for each other along with your inner beauty. I want to tell your story, and with all of this, I hope to create a unique piece of art within each image.

I love when my clients come up with unique and creative ideas for their photos! This was one of the most unusual requests, an underwater engagement session! I was ALL ABOUT IT! I am always up for challenges and luckily had already purchased proper equipment for an underwater trash the dress session I did a while ago, so we went for it again! Shirt, tie, belt, watch, jewelry…heels, leave it all on! WHY NOT!?
The shadows from the surface of the water created such a cool texture…

Paul and Kat LOVE visiting New York so much that they asked us to take a trip there with them to do their engagement session! I could not refuse since that was one of the next places on my list to check off! We stayed in SoHo and while we were there, we were able to experience Central Park, the city, the subways, Times Square, the High Line, and the meatpacking district.
We really enjoyed this city and couldn’t believe how little we were able to cover during our trip, it’s so big and so busy! We would definitely recommend it for a fun trip or honeymoon! We will be returning soon, if not for fashion or wedding work, it will just be to enjoy the culture and good food, including artichoke pizza, yes, it’s for real, i’m drooling just thinking of it…

It was such a great coincidence that I was able to meet this lovely couple from my home state, Michigan!!! I photographed a corporate event for Medley Health at the stunning Pelican Hill Resort, Mukesh & Erika attended. After I was done taking all the other portraits of the guests, they took me aside, and asked me advice on posing since their wedding was coming up. It was perfect timing, we had a beautiful sunset, I gave them just a few pointers and then I couldn’t stop snapping photos, they were naturals! Late that night, I get a call from them to see if I had an opening for a “real” session before they flew out for Michigan and we made it happen! Just hours before their plane was scheduled to take off, they got to get a quick tour of the coast and enjoy some sand between their toes! Here are some of my favorites!

They were so adorable, they even did their research on ideas and poses for the photos, I just snapped away! They both totally worked it, Paul and I had so much fun hanging out and capturing the love between this beautiful pair…Paul and I shot this e-session together, we work together alot and compliment eachother when we shoot, BUT, he always shows me up! haha!
This is his shot, and probably my favorite – Good job hubby!!!
