Airplane & Ocean Engagement Session & Puerto Vallarta Wedding Teasers!

During Kristi & Justin’s engagement session, Paul and I were allowed access to a red vintage airplane at the Santa Monica Airport since our bride is a pilot! It was so much fun! We then enjoyed the couple’s favorite local beach. It was so awesome finally meeting one of our couples before their destination wedding, as we and the couple usually travel to the destination and then meet the day before or even day of! Most of our destination couples have been from the east coast, it was just so great getting to know these two first on our local beaches of California, they are so sweet…

Love is in the air!!!

We just got done photographing their big day, the CUTEST WEDDING EVER. It took place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! The way they looked at each other throughout the day could make you tear up in a second, they adore one another. Here’s a few of my favorites from their gorgeous day!

We were honored to work with the amazing team of The Dazzling Details at the beautiful Villa Celeste. Kristi & Justin described the day just as they had imagined and the details were perfect right down to their favorite snack, blueberries and cheese!

Underwater Engagement Session by KLK Photography

I love when my clients come up with unique and creative ideas for their photos! This was one of the most unusual requests, an underwater engagement session! I was ALL ABOUT IT! I am always up for challenges and luckily had already purchased proper equipment for an underwater trash the dress session I did a while ago, so we went for it again! Shirt, tie, belt, watch, jewelry…heels, leave it all on! WHY NOT!?

The shadows from the surface of the water created such a cool texture…

One of the canvases they chose to display on their welcome table at their wedding.

It was displayed next to their guestbook they ordered through MyPublisher!

The single, pink, GIANT balloon was so much fun!

New York Engagement Session by KLK Photography: Teaser!

Paul and Kat LOVE visiting New York so much that they asked us to take a trip there with them to do their engagement session! I could not refuse since that was one of the next places on my list to check off! We stayed in SoHo and while we were there, we were able to experience Central Park, the city, the subways, Times Square, the High Line, and the meatpacking district.

We really enjoyed this city and couldn’t believe how little we were able to cover during our trip, it’s so big and so busy! We would definitely recommend it for a fun trip or honeymoon! We will be returning soon, if not for fashion or wedding work, it will just be to enjoy the culture and good food, including artichoke pizza, yes, it’s for real, i’m drooling just thinking of it…
