Thank you for exploring this piece of me...

This is my dream, my passion, my gift. Every day I continue to be amazed at the opportunities that we have today, as photographers - the ability to capture love, a moment, a story, a spirit and a life within a single photograph. I believe that I have been blessed with this gift and I want to continue to share it with others so that they may have a gift of their own!

As a newlywed, I completely understand how important, and how difficult, it is to trust someone with this responsibility and I also know how much time is put into the planning of your wedding day; from the moment you choose the location to say "I do", to trying on the dress of your dreams, and of course, all the planning in between. I pay attention to the small things, which will later remind you of each moment that made your day so special and so unique; including all the details, the look in your eyes as you look at each other for the first time as husband and wife, as well as the relationships being created between your two unique families.

I focus on bringing out the personality of those being photographed. Releasing one's self, while making the sessions fun and comfortable. On the wedding day, I perform in a non-intrusive manner, allowing me to document many emotional, meaningful and real moments. It is so important to allow time for timeless yet creative portraiture. In order to create most of what you see on my website portfolio, I would direct you in a natural way to create a beautiful image that could possibly sum up the beauty of your wedding day in a single shot. My goal is to capture your love for each other along with your inner beauty. I want to tell your story, and with all of this, I hope to create a unique piece of art within each image.

Orange County Boudoir Studio: Photography by Kristi Klemens

Aren’t these ladies STUNNING!? I don’t share the images from my boudoir sessions often, but these women were gracious enough to allow me to share their images with you, and hopefully to inspire other women. Each one walked into the session a little unsure and shy and walked out as a beautiful, confident rockstar. To me, that is priceless and I think they’d say the same.

I thought i’d do this boudoir post for a little motivation to start off the new year as many of you are hitting those new year resolutions and getting in shape!  A boudoir session is not only for him, it’s for YOU! For an anniversary, wedding, birthday or valentine’s gift, these photos will make your honey say “WOW”! Valentine’s day is just around the corner and I have a few spaces left. I will even be shooting just days before with promises to get you a few “teasers” by Love Day!

I love doing boudoir photography as I feel like it brings out the hidden beauty & confidence which lies within each woman. I aim to keep each photograph artistic & elegant.  The sessions are fun and relaxing. I work with a wonderful team of hair and makeup artists as well. My boudoir studio is in Orange County right near the Irvine Spectrum. It’s convenient, private, and keep costs down too as no hotels are needed!
